The first of Valenth's 2012 Starstone Collection-- a bunch of different birthstones from a bunch of different lists, combined with Valenth's own zodiac.
This is Erophe, an erosion who was dismissed by the object of his affections. Things work out for him in the end, but he never really got over what he lost, either. The crystal in use here is zircon; the one I referenced (for all but tainted) was fairly rough, but it had really lovely color bands.
How did I not realize that the beta is a rock. This makes it even more awesome! And I want a real little dragon carving like that, to keep on my desk... Poor Erophe, he's so sad. I want to know what happened; will we hear the whole story, some day?

You might be able to find one! Even if not, I do want to try and make figurines of all the carvings in this set when it's done. And I think I'd like to try to write all the stories sometime, if I can get them to have the mythology vibe I'd like.
Stone/Dragon... thing. I like it! The vital form looks so tragic, though.

...Do want. Very much. I dunno though, the Vital seems a little out of place compared to the other three but they're still freaking awesome.

Right, I'm not gonna argue with you there. I suppose I should have included "visually" in that sentence. x)

Aaaah, I'm so excited about this collection. o_oI already know I'm going to want every one of these. XD Stars and constellations are some of my favorite things, as are stones and crystals. I'm going to have an impossible time trying to decide what form of each I want, though! I have half a mind to leave whichever I manage to get as betas to avoid having to pick, but I might just see what they all look like in the end and make the ones I get match or something... XD
